INDIANAPOLIS – To be this good, and to make so many "experts" look this bad, the 2018 Indianapolis Colts had to pull off a few surprises. OK, a few shockers. Ah, let’s be real: The Colts had to pull some king-sized rabbits out of an itty-bitty hat, one magic trick after another that has this franchise – which went 4-12 in 2017 – one victory away from a 10-6 finish, a spot in the NFL playoffs, perhaps even an AFC South championship.
