It’s finally here. After months of scouting, speculation, and mocked scenarios, the NFL Draft begins tonight at 8 pm EST.
Prior to free agency, the Indianapolis Colts had several needs to address. After a handful of uncharacteristic splashes from general manager Chris Ballard and company, the Colts head into this year’s draft with a bit more flexibility to work with as opposed to in recent cycles, though a few blatant holes remain.
With the additions of cornerback Charvarius Ward and safety Camryn Bynum shoring up the defensive backfield, and quarterback Daniel Jones’ services being brought in to add competition to the room with third-year quarterback Anthony Richardson, the Colts are now able to focus their efforts on addressing the three positions that are currently without starters — tight end, off-ball linebacker, and right guard.
