INDIANAPOLIS -- Missing an NFL game is something Indianapolis Colts defensive end Kendall Langford is not familiar with. That’s because Langford has never missed a game in his eight-year career.
His streak of 128 straight games played is the longest active streak in the NFL. That streak came into jeopardy when he had knee surgery early last month. Langford returned to practice Wednesday, and coach Chuck Pagano reiterated that he would be "shocked" if the defensive lineman didn’t play Sunday.
Langford, who tied for the team lead in sacks last season, wants to play against the Detroit Lions, but he’s also thinking long term.
