Colts trading for Trey Hendrickson could mask their disastrous QB situation

On Tuesday, Daniel Jones was named the starter of the Indianapolis Colts, but Indy could perhaps try to mask that with a trade. In a shocking move, the Colts did not name Anthony Richardson as their starter.

Many Colts' fans likely wanted Richardson as the starter and probably wanted to see if the third-year player with limited starts could finally hit his stride. We all know the story as well; Richardson has a ton of athleticism and maybe the biggest arm in the NFL.

But like many of these athletic quarterbacks, the smaller nuances of playing the position are harder to come by, and that's been his main issue.
