Colts TE Jack Doyle suffers what is feared to be a season ending injury

The Colts’ win over Miami was ugly, and it did not come without cost. Colts insider Stephen Holder of The Athletic reports that Jack Doyle suffered what is likely to be a season ending injury and is expected to go to IR.

The Colts offense has been humming since week 6, and a major component of that offense both in terms of blocking and as a reliable target for Luck has been Jack Doyle. Doyle has been overshadowed in terms of production this season by Eric Ebron, who has 12 touchdowns on the season, but his presence on the offense was definitely an important one.
