Colts still waiting on Anthony Castonzo's retirement decision

MOBILE, Ala. — The Indianapolis Colts are still waiting for left tackle Anthony Castonzo to make a decision about whether he wants to return for his 10th NFL season.

Castonzo, who just finished the final year of the four-year, $43 million extension he signed in 2015 and is an unrestricted free agent, revealed at the end of the season that he is contemplating retirement, even though he remains at the top of his game.

The Colts have kept in contact with their left tackle over the last three weeks as he continues to mull his choices.

“I know he’s working through that decision,” Colts coach Frank Reich said at the Senior Bowl.
