For many, it was a bit of a surprise move when the Indianapolis Colts first waived tight end Erik Swoope a couple weeks ago. I think you’d have to qualify it with even more surprise when the Colts waived their undrafted free agent preseason stud, Skai Moore just last week.
The good news, is that each of them made it through waivers, and there’s not really any bad news to this if we’re being perfectly honest. Moore may not be exactly what the Colts figured he might be that early on, but he certainly adds speed and coverage ability to the team’s young linebacker corps.
