The Colts had a bunch of rookies in Indy for their rookie mini-camp. Now that mini-camp is over, they decided to sign four of the players they had over. They announced that they have signed K Cole Hedlund, DT Sterling Shippy, CB Shakial Taylor, and LB Tre Thomas.
Hedlund will be brought in to loosen the load on Adam Vinatieri. Everyone knows that he has the job. But it will be good experience for Hedlund to get into an NFL training camp. He played his college ball at Arkansas for three years before playing his last at North Texas.
