Giddens fits the backup running back role that has been established in Indy under head coach Shane Steichen. He’s big, he’s fast, he’s physical. It was generally believed that the Colts would look to add another back via the draft and there were more than a dozen players who might fit the bill for Indy, but they landed on Giddens on day three.
