INDIANAPOLIS — Ryan Kelly has already made it clear.
He wants an extension that will keep him in Indianapolis beyond this season as soon as possible. Kelly is headed into the fifth and final year of his rookie deal, and he’d prefer to get a deal done with the Colts long before he gets anywhere close to free agency.
The good news is the Colts have already had preliminary talks about keeping Kelly around long-term.
