INDIANAPOLIS – Presbyterian’s season had just ended.
The bet Rock Ya-Sin had made on the school, the bet he’d made on football, the bet he’d made on himself, looked like it was about to pay off.
Then the bombshell hit. The day after that win over Gardner-Webb, Presbyterian athletic director Danny Sterling walked into a team meeting and told The Blue Hose the school was giving up scholarship football, leaving the Big South conference to play in the non-scholarship Pioneer League, beginning in 2021.
