The Colts announced that they placed Daurice Fountain on the Non-Football Injury list to start training camp. The former fifth round pick from Northern Iowa won’t be participating in training camp as things start up. This is not great for a man on the bubble.
Fountain played very little last season. When he was given opportunities, he failed to use them well. He was inactive for most of 2018. He has a good chance of getting cut this season because of how little he has progressed. Fountain just hasn’t improved.
Improvement is going to be the only way he makes this team now that the receiver room is much more competitive.
