The Indianapolis Colts have officially placed running back Robert Turbin on Injured Reserve and elevated running back Josh Ferguson to the active roster from the practice squad.
Turbin gruesomely injured his elbow last week on Monday Night Football against the Tennessee Titans. He was putting together a second consecutive stellar season as a short-yardage back, having converted on 7-of-7 runs from 3rd-and-1 this year after converting 5-of-5 in 2016, according to Mike Chappell of CBS4. Turbin and Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman are the only two with perfect marks over the last two seasons.
