Colts Notebook: Questions linger after Brissett's concussion tests

INDIANAPOLIS — Controversy seems to follow the Colts this season like a black cloud tracking the franchise's every step.

Sunday's newest addition surrounds quarterback Jacoby Brissett — who was hit in the helmet on a late third-quarter play by Pittsburgh's Stephon Tuitt, passed two sideline concussion tests and then returned to the field to finish the game.

Afterward, Brissett was not made available for his usual postgame press conference because he had been placed in the NFL's concussion protocol.

It's a string of events that will again bring into question the league's procedures. The NFL also is investigating an incident from Thursday night involving Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson.
