The Indianapolis Colts have lost their longest-tenured coach.
Quarterbacks coach Clyde Christensen, with the franchise the past 14 seasons, elected to leave the team Saturday to accept the offensive coordinator position with the Miami Dolphins. The news was reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Christensen's departure means, over the course of three months, star quarterback Andrew Luck has lost the two coaches he has worked closest with in Indianapolis: Christensen, his position coach since 2012, and former offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton, who was fired in November.
Christensen arrived in Indianapolis in 2002 to work on former Colts coach Tony Dungy's first staff.
