The Indianapolis Colts still have some tough decisions to make before roster cuts are due to be made. One is at tight end, with a spot coming down to Will Mallory and Jelani Woods. Mallory probably had that wrapped up before preseason Week 3.
Maybe the tougher decisions involved the cornerback group. This was made more problematic due to so many injuries. Rookie Justin Walley was trending toward being a starter, for instance. But he will miss the season with a knee injury.
The team signed 32-year-old veteran Xavien Howard recently, and he might be the starter opposite offseason acquisition Charvarius Ward.
