Colts' Langford out 3-4 weeks after surgery

ANDERSON, Ind. - Indianapolis Colts defensive lineman Kendall Langford will be out 3-4 weeks after having knee surgery, coach Chuck Pagano announced Tuesday.

"(Langford) got an MRI and he's got a chondral defect in there," Pagano said. "...He's an iron man. Think he has the most consecutive games."

The Colts are holding out hope that Langford, who tied for the team lead in sacks with 7.0 last season, will be ready for their Week 1 game against the Detroit Lions. He has never missed a game in his eight-year career.
