Colts' Kendall Langford out 3-4 weeks

ANDERSON — The Indianapolis Colts’ depleted defensive line just can’t catch a break.

An already banged-up group took another significant hit Tuesday, when the team learned that starter Kendall Langford will be out 3-4 weeks with a chondral defect in his knee. Langford suffered the injury in practice late last week.

Thus the defensive line could very likely be without its top three players for the Sept. 11 opener against the Lions: Henry Anderson is still returning from an ACL tear last season and remains on the Physically Unable to Perform list; Art Jones is suspended for the first four games of the season for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs; now Langford’s availability is in question.
