INDIANAPOLIS — Frank Reich has finished filling out his coaching staff for the 2020 season, hiring Alabama’s Brian Baker to replace Mike Phair as the Colts’ defensive line coach, the Colts announced Thursday.
Baker spent last season as the Crimson Tide’s associate head coach and defensive line coach, and before that he’d spent three years at Mississippi State, but the veteran coach has spent most of his career in the NFL, coaching defensive line or outside linebackers for eight different NFL teams, most recently the Washington Redskins in 2014.
