Phases I and II of the Tyquan Lewis bounce-back season are complete. Phase I was successfully working his way off the roster bubble in training camp and earning a part-time role within the Indianapolis Colts defensive line rotation.

Phase II was making the most of limited opportunities.
Check.
Lewis has turned about 14 defensive snaps a game into 1.5 sacks, three pressures, three tackles for a loss, two quarterback hits and seven tackles. That’s not a Pro-Bowl level stat line or anything, but it was enough to propel him into Phase III: a more prominent role on Colts game days.
