Germaine Pratt was in Indianapolis on October 5th as a member of the Las Vegas Raiders defense that gave up 40 points in a loss to the Indianapolis Colts. The next day, Pratt was released by the Raiders. Not to say he alone was responsible for allowing so many points, but the move was made, nonetheless.
The Colts had to place linebacker Joe Bachie on injured reserve, leaving the team in need of a replacement. Germaine previously played for Indianapolis defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo when both were in Cincinnati, and the Colts signed Pratt to a one-year deal just two days after his release from the Raiders.
