Colts fans preparing for a far different experience at games this season due to COVID-19

Charlie Tinkle Jr. was eager to once again make the trek from the statehouse parking lot to Lucas Oil Stadium. His COPD made that walk (and the walk back) difficult last year, so he made only two Colts Sundays. Tinkle has been a Colts season-ticket holder since the team moved to Indianapolis in 1984. A state senator had the tickets, but he was going to spend much of his time in the suites with lobbyists, so he sold the seats to the secretary of the senate — Tinkle’s wife, Carolyn.

Tinkle brought his son, Charlie III, who’s since brought his son, Charlie IV.
