Dwight Freeney was one of the most feared defensive lineman in the mid-2000’s. He was one of the best players at getting to the quarterback. Most of his talent was able to be utilized because of how good the offense was during those times. The team was ahead in most of their games early.
Because they were ahead, Freeney was able to tee off in obvious passing situations. Freeney was able to amass 107.5 sacks in his time with the Colts. Most of those sacks were a result of a devastating spin move than many have tried to imitate, but none have duplicated.
