The Indianapolis Colts need their defense to be very good in 2025. The offense has good skill position players, but the quality of the quarterback play is unknown. Even if QB1 Daniel Jones is good in Week 1, there is no guarantee he will be good in Week 3.
In other words, the defense needs to be high-quality and have lots of depth. Presuming starters to remain healthy for a full season is foolish, and most teams win with younger players who tend to stay healthier than aging veterans. This is where Shilo Sanders could come in.
The Colorado Buffalo product (and, as we all know, Deion Sanders' son that isn't named Shedeur) was recently released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as part of roster cuts.
