Colts embrace challenge of Steelers

INDIANAPOLIS — It's hard to imagine a world in which an impending Steelers game is seen as a respite for the Colts.

But it's been an unimaginable season in Indianapolis.

This week has been a prime example.

It began with veteran cornerback Vontae Davis being released after a public disagreement with the team over his recent demotion. And it continued with the bizarre loss of a second defensive starter — defensive end Henry Anderson — who was placed on injured reserve with an ultra rare fractured larynx.

Saturday brought more potential distractions from the ongoing Andrew Luck saga.
