Colts' David Parry agrees to plea deal, avoids jail

INDIANAPOLIS - Colts defensive lineman David Parry will avoid jail time under the terms of a plea agreement entered Wednesday in Maricopa Superior Court in Arizona.

Parry’s attorney, Jose Montaño, said Parry pleaded guilty to one count of disorderly conduct and one count of attempted unlawful means of transportation. Parry will be formally sentenced to an undetermined period of supervised probation during a sentencing scheduled for May 31. A judge will determine the length of time on probation.

The disorderly charge is a misdemeanor; the attempted unlawful means of transportation is a level 6 felony — the lowest under Arizona law.
