ANDERSON – Greg Toler is in a tough position.
Yes, cornerback in the National Football League is a tough position. But playing across the field from Vontae Davis, one of the best corners in the league, makes it even tougher. Davis earned his first Pro Bowl selection with a breakout season for the Colts in 2014 and his reputation and skills mean Toler will be targeted more as opposing quarterbacks avoid testing his teammate.
While Davis thrived last year, Toler battled inconsistency. In Week 3 at Jacksonville, Toler had an interception for the second straight game, returning it 47 yards for a touchdown in a 44-17 Colts win.
