The Indianapolis Colts announced today that they have made a roster move, as the team claimed cornerback Tevin Mitchel and waived safety Robert Smith in a corresponding move.
Mitchel was a 6th round pick (#182 pick) of the Washington Redskins from Arkansas and was waived on Wednesday after tearing a labrum in his left shoulder before being claimed by the Colts today. Mitchel played in 11 games for the Razorbacks last season, starting in 5 games. During his senior season, he recorded 20 tackles, 2 interceptions, and 8 pass deflections.
