JuJu Brents was drafted in the second round of the 2023 NFL draft by the Indianapolis Colts. That draft increasingly looks like a waste for the team. First-round pick Anthony Richardson hasn't yet worked out, and Brents, after two injury-riddled seasons, was released as part of roster cuts in 2025.
But Indy won't have to wait long to see his former team. According to MMQB's Albert Breer, Brents was claimed off waivers by the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins are the Colts' Week 1 opponent this coming season. Will Brents play? Likely.
He missed a lot of time (of course) in Indy's training camp and preseason because he was dealing with a hamstring injury.
