Colts Bring in Free Agent Cornerback Kenneth Acker for Visit

This was a disappointing free agency period for the Colts as fans expected general manager Chris Ballard to add more talent with their $80 million of cap space this offseason.

One of the moves that made this offseason a disappointment thus far was cornerback Rashaan Melvin signing in Oakland for just $5.5 million on a one-year deal after the Colts failed to re-sign him.

Melvin’s departure makes the cornerback depth chart very thin in Indianapolis.

As the roster stands right now, Quincy Wilson would likely be the number one cornerback entering his second year in the NFL.
