Colts rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson is seeking a second opinion on his injured throwing shoulder and will miss Indianapolis' Week 6 game against the Jaguars, coach Shane Steichen confirmed Monday.
Gardner Minshew will get the start on Sunday in Jacksonville against his former team.
Steichen said the Colts are still evaluating if Richardson would need to go on injured reserve, which would sideline him for a minimum of four games.
For now, Steichen would only say that Richardson "will miss some time" with the sprain to the AC joint in his right shoulder.
