The Colts are yet again short on tackles. J’Marcus Webb started all but 1 offensive snap in the season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals, and now finds himself on the Colts’ injured reserve list after sustaining a hamstring injury.
With the left tackle spot murky due to Anthony Castonzo’s absence (also due to a hamstring injury), Webb stepped up to play the right tackle spot while Joe Haeg manned the left tackle position. The offensive line did an admirable job in pass protection and looked to get better with Castonzo’s return, but will now slide toward being even thinner at the tackle position.
