Nothing is official until the NFL's new year starts at 4 p.m. Wednesday, but 13-year-old Giovanni Hamilton, a friend of Carson Wentz who describes himself as Wentz's No. 1 fan on his Twitter account, tweeted out a photo of a No. 2 Colts jersey with WENTZ on the back.
Wentz and Hamilton met at Eagles' training camp in 2019, with Wentz fist bumping and talking to Hamilton, who uses a wheelchair, according to multiple media reports. Hamilton suffers from Schwartz-Jampel Syndrome, which causes permanent muscle stiffness and bone abnormalities, according to medlineplus.
