Luck retiring throws a huge wrench into the Colts’ plans. They went from having a Super Bowl contending team to one that will struggle to make the playoffs. Now they are scrambling to find some depth with that group. They could be in the market for a veteran quarterback.
Jacoby Brissett is going to be the starter for the 2019 season. There is no doubt about that. But the Colts could look for a quarterback to come in to backup Brissett that actually has some experience playing in the regular season.
This would make a lot of sense for them to do.
