For the second time in three years, the Indianapolis Colts will open the regular season in Los Angeles.

This time, they’ll do so inside a 27,000-seat soccer stadium.

Two years after getting drubbed 46-9 by the Rams in their 2017 opener at the Los Angeles Coliseum, a dismal tone-setter for a dismal season, the Colts will begin their 2019 campaign on the road in Los Angeles against the Chargers at Dignity Health Sports Park.

It figures to be one of the NFL’s marquee games on opening weekend: the Chargers are coming off a 12-4 season, the Colts 10-6, and both reached the divisional round of the playoffs in January.
