INDIANAPOLIS – The Colts have five snaps of defensive film to go off of when evaluating free agent Chris Carter.
Back in October, the Colts signed Carter after he spent the first handful of games this past season with the Ravens.
Carter’s role in Indianapolis was relegated to special teams. He played just a total of five defensive snaps in nine games with the Colts.
A lighter defensive load is how Carter has spent most of his six seasons in the NFL.
Playing with four teams since being a 2011 fifth-round pick, the 6-1 and 245-pound Carter is an unrestricted free agent.
