3 Draft Day Trades The Indianapolis Colts Could Make

The 2015 NFL Draft is under a month away, which means draft trade rumors are about to get extremely loud around the league. The Indianapolis Colts are one team that could be in the mix for some draft day hijinx, but what/who exactly would they look to trade for? Here’s 3 Draft Day Trades The Indianapolis Colts Could Make.

1. Trade #29 pick and 3rd round pick (#93) to Philadelphia for #20 pick

If the Indianapolis Colts are serious about having the relative pick of the litter on pass rushers (such as Kentucky's Bud Dupree & Washington's Shaq Thompson), swinging a deal with the Philadelphia Eagles for a nine-spot boost could be the way to go -- provided Eagles HC Chip Kelly isn't as infatuated with trading up for Marcus Mariota as some think he is. If Kelly is of the mind to target a signal caller outside of the first round, the Colts could have a willing trade partner for a price.

2. Trade #29 pick to Oakland for 2nd (#35) and 4th (#102) round picks

Or...the Colts could go the other way and grab an extra 4th (or, at the very least, 5th) rounder from a team like the Raiders. If Oakland decides to stray away from WRs Kevin White (West Virginia) and Amari Cooper (Alabama) at #4, they could very well look to trade up for a second first-rounder if someone like Louisville's DeVante Parker is hanging around.

3. Trade #29 pick to St. Louis for 2nd (#41) and 4th (#119) round picks

If the Colts can't extract the kind of even value that the aforementioned Oakland trade would bring, this deal with the Rams could be a solid consolation with slightly less oomph. Sports Illustrated's Peter King proposed this deal in a recent mock draft, citing the Rams' need for offensive line help as a potential impetus for St. Louis to jump back into the first for a second go-around.
