TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Sycamore volleyball dropped a heartbreaker to regional foe Eastern Illinois, 3-2 (22-25, 25-21, 21-25, 25-16, 25-9) in the final match of the Sycamore Invitational Saturday night inside the ISU Arena.
Junior earned Sycamore Invitational Tournament MVP while fellow Sycamores and were named to the all-tournament team. Gross finished the weekend with 39 kills and 28 kills in two matches while recording a pair of double-doubles on the way.
