CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. -- Indiana State improved to seventh overall after the second round of the 2017 Missouri Valley Conference Championships while senior Marissa Uradomo is just two shots back of the individual leader heading into the final round on Tuesday. The tournament, hosted by Southern Illinois, is being held at the Dalhousie Golf Club, which is a par-72, 6,214-yard layout.
Play was delayed until the afternoon and still the first half of the round was played under rainy conditions for the most part. The Sycamores carded a team score of 325 one day after posting a 320 and their total of 645 is now in seventh place -- one spot above their standing after the first day.
