Three Sycamores Taken During 2019 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Coming off its 10th NCAA Tournament appearance in program history, Indiana State baseball saw three of its players selected in the 2019 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft Tuesday and Wednesday.

Shortstop Clay Dungan paved the way with a ninth-round (Pick: 259) selection by the Kansas City Royals. Sycamore left-hander Triston Polley was taken by the Texas Rangers in the 16th round (Pick: 475) while third baseman Jake Means joined Dungan in Kansas City after being selected by the Royals in the 22nd round (Pick: 649). With the trio being selected, ISU has now seen 89 players drafted since 1965.
