ST. LOUIS -- The poor weather conditions at the WG Fort Wayne Classic brought out the best in the Sycamores and junior Thilda Staubo led Indiana State to a record setting performance with a third place finish in the competitive event. For her efforts, she picked up her second Missouri Valley Conference Women's Golfer of the Week honor on Wednesday afternoon from the league office.
Staubo recorded a 70 on the first trip around the course and came back with a 71 in the afternoon for a score of 141 and a spot in third place.
