KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. -- Thilda Staubo fired an opening round of two over par to lead the Sycamores on the opening day of the 2018 Edwin Watts / Kiawah Island Classic. Today's round was held at the par-72, 5,941-yard layout of the Oak Point Golf Club.
Staubo's round of 74 is good for a tie for 41st place. Sophie Benetti's round of 79 puts her in a tie for 134th while Sierra Hargens carded a round of 81 to tie for 161st place. Robyn Blanchard covered the 18 holes in a score of 81 which tied for 191st place.
