Box Score TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State women's soccer came away with a 1-1 tie in their match today (Aug. 20) with the Eastern Illinois Panthers.
With temperatures in the upper eighties both teams started off sluggish when the whistle blew. Neither side was able to generate any threatening offensive attack or break through the others backline.
Indiana State was the first to pick up the pace and earned themselves some good chances throughout play. Then in the 33rd minute Katie Wells was able to deflect a Caitlyn Eddy corner kick into the net putting the Sycamores up 1-0.
