TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – It was a cold and windy day at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course for the Great Lakes Regional, but that didn't stop the Taylor Austin and the Sycamores from putting on several strong performances.
The Indiana State women finished 13th in the region with 376 points, edging out 18 other teams in the 6K. On the men's side, the Sycamores finished 18th with 448 points, defeating eight teams including conference rivals Valparaiso and Evansville.
"The women…that was fun. It had to be one of our best finishes in a few years," head coach Kyle Walsh said.
