BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana State track and field teams were feeling it on day one of the Gladstein Invite at IU with seven personal-best performances, led by Taylor Austin in the mile.
"We had a lot of energy today," head coach Angela Martin said. "It seemed like in every event we had something positive happening and I'm really proud of the efforts. I'm excited to see what tomorrow brings."
Austin hit another milestone in her career on Friday, this time passing current senior associate AD Angie Lansing in the mile to move into second in ISU history.
