Terre Haute, Ind.—The Indiana State women’s soccer team opens 2016 regular season play vs. the Western Illinois Leathernecks on Friday, Aug. 19 at 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Stadium.
The Sycamores are coming off of a 6-10-1 record in the 2015 season as well as a win and tie in exhibition play. Senior Maddie Orf was named to the Missouri Valley Conference preseason squad earlier this week following her impressive 2015 season where she tallied six goals and added three assists.
The Leathernecks have dropped both of their exhibition games in 2016 and are coming off of a 2-15 record in 2015.
