Sycamores Take Opener of Doubleheader, 5-4; Game Two Suspended In Fourth

TERRE HAUTE – Indiana State baseball picked up a 5-4 win over Bradley in the opening game of a scheduled doubleheader Friday afternoon before lightning and rain caused the suspension of game two in the bottom of the fourth with Bradley leading 3-2.

Game two is scheduled to resume play Saturday at 2 p.m. ET. Game three of the series will begin shortly after the conclusion of the second game, weather permitting.

An eighth inning rally from Indiana State secured the win for the Sycamores over Bradley at Bob Warn Field. Trailing 4-3 with two outs in the eighth, doubled down the line in left field before brought him home to tie the ballgame with a double of his own.
