ST. LOUIS – Sycamore women's volleyball has been picked to finish eighth in the Missouri Valley Conference Preseason Coaches Poll, the Valley announced Wednesday morning.
Indiana State received 31 points along with a single first place vote while Illinois State has been chosen as the favorite, picking up 79 points and three first place votes. Drake was tabbed second with 77 points and three first place votes as well.
Last season, Indiana State qualified for their first MVC Tournament since the 2017 season, finishing 7-11 in the Valley while also picking up victories over the top-three teams chosen in the preseason poll, a first for the program.
