Sycamores Stellar In Senior Day Victory

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State used early second half scoring on a pair of underclassmen's goals to take a lead and then a pair of seniors slammed the door late as the Sycamores earned a 3-0 Senior Day victory over visiting Purdue Fort Wayne in front of 225 fans inside Memorial Stadium.

Indiana State improved to 2-6-1 on the season while Purdue Fort Wayne fell to 4-3-2.

Freshman scored in the 56 minute off a breakaway goal to stake the Sycamores to a 1-0 advantage. Face took a long pass and was able to sneak past the defense and beat the goalkeeper one-on-one by pushing the ball into the back of the net.
