CHICAGO -- The Indiana State Sycamores earned a runner-up finish at the 2016 Missouri Valley Conference Championship held over the past three days at the Harborside International Golf Center (Port Course), a par-72, 5,977 layout near Lake Michigan.
Indiana State posted a final round score of 304 and a tournament tally of 897 en route to their second place finish which ties a similar result from 2014 as their best showing at the MVC Championship. On the strength of a school record second round score of 287, Indiana State's final mark of 897 is the best in the history of the program for a 54-hole tournament.
